I’ve been inspired recently by a number of friends blogging and the quality of their writing and content.
As I’ve been slowly working on getting my photography site up, I’ve been looking at countless numbers of photography websites. What I’ve noticed is a trend among photographers to have a website front page with links to two separate sites. One link takes you to the site that houses galleries and information about services. The other link directs you to their blogs. That got me to thinking, perhaps the reason I’ve been so slow to produce content on my blog is because I’ve felt pressure to replicate the interesting and, often, witty musings found on other blogs instead of simply writing on the things I’m passionate about.

So, with that said, I intend to use this blog to share my experiences with photography and getting that career off the ground. I will still, undoubtedly, have a number of random musings, and hope you’ll indulge my views and particular brand of humor.

I ask for your patience and encouragement (please give me your feedback) as I pursue my photography dream, as well as draw on my childhood dream of being a writer. Maybe, just maybe, I’ll find a way to merge the two.
