My son Noah reached a very special milestone yesterday. He graduated from high school! Noah has attended Georgetown Day School (GDS) since kindergarten, making him what they call “a lifer” at the school. There have been a lof of wonderful experiences, and a few speed bumps, in Noah’s 13 years at GDS; but I feel confident that the high points far outweighed any low lights. Noah has endured, and stay focused, even through the divorce of his parents; which I know was hard for him. Through it all, Noah has remained, simply, a good kid. It’s clear to me that Noah was well-liked by his peers and faculty at the school. Now, on the next chapter — Howard University. I can’t wait.
Congratulations Noah! I couldn’t be more proud of you, and feel incredibly grateful to be your dad.
