Thanks to the late Mrs. Phyl­lis Albee, and all the lov­ing, hard-working edu­ca­tors, for the inspi­ra­tion. Of course, the great­est source of inspi­ra­tion in my life came from my mother, the late Judith Eve (Busby) John­son. She was the per­son­i­fi­ca­tion of Ward’s quote — a won­der­ful edu­ca­tor and my hero.
