JaBig

To know me is to know that I love house music. I am always looking around YouTube and SoundCloud for mixes — particularly for workouts. I’ve seen JaBig on YouTube a lot, but didn’t really dig into his collection until recently. Ok…THIS DUDE is the shit! His mixing skills are tight, and there is a nice diversity of music in his mixes. Add to that, if you subscribe to JaBig’s site, you can download all of the mixes for free. (JaBig ask for people to donate to the United Nations World Food Programme. Done!) I am already eyeballing the capacity on my external music drive. JaBig’s mixes may need their own drive. A lot of JaBig’s mixes are several hours…yes hours…long. I just downloaded a six-hour mix. If you like, or love, house music, do yourself a favor and check out JaBig. If you’re on social media, but sure to check JaBig out on Facebook and/or Twitter.

Here are just a few of his mixes.

I mentioned that the dude is diverse, right? Check this out.

now THIS is friday music

A bit of a cheat this week. I have been rather busy this week, so I didn’t have time to pull together a post with music from an individual artist. I will get back on it next week. In the meantime, enjoy this nearly two-house deep house mix by Toronto-based DJ Joonya T.
