It is a new year, and I am mulling over some changes to my blog. Noth­ing dras­tic, though. One of the things that is chang­ing is my music series. I am retir­ing my “now THIS is fri­day music” post. It had a good run — 88 install­ments. I’m always lis­ten­ing to music, usu­ally via Rdio, a song will grab me and I want to replay it over and over — kinda like I did when I was a kid with a new 45. Usu­ally what I do is book­mark the song, and then I go back to find more music by the artist. That dig­ging around was what allowed me to pro­duce the Fri­day music series. Some­times, the artist was a bit of a one-hit-wonder, and I didn’t find any­thing else I liked. This left me with some nice sin­gles for var­i­ous Rdio playlists. So, going for­ward, I plan to share music as it hits me with no set sched­ule or order. There may be posts with just one song; while oth­ers have mul­ti­ple tracks fea­tured. It really depends on how much time I have to explore an artist, and what I find dig­ging through that artist’s tracks.

I love shar­ing music that I find, but I would also like to get some feed­back from you. Just as I have turned some of you on to new artists, I’d like if you do the same for me. If you hear a song on here, and think there’s an artist that I might like, please share it on the comments.
